For the previous 2 years now, WCF have proudly sponsored the 'Mr Jazzy Potato Project' run by the Royal Highland Education Trust. School children grow a crop of Jazzy seed potatoes and learn about all the aspects of the potato crop and benefits of eating potatoes as part of a balanced diet. The highlight of the project is the classroom visit from the 'Potato Professor' and a local farmer who helps the pupils to harvest their crop. 50 schools took part last year with WCF presenting a prize to the school that produced the heaviest crop!
